• Are job offers in Oman genuine?

  My husband was selected in an interview and sent the appointment letter. After that he was told to wait for his visa.A couple of days passed and nothing happened.When he contated the copany they told him to submit his medical.We encountered a cost of nearly Dhs 500 to do the medical and send it to the company. Now many days have passed,the copany did not send the visa and the officials are not answering their phones.This is what we got from a 'supposedly big name' in Oman, a company whose Chairman is an ex-minister and is said to be a very good and religious person. I am just really hurt and wonder if it's fair? Whereas I must say that when I visited Oman a week ago, I found Omanis to be very friendly, kind and truly hospitable.
