There are some excellent deals to be had in Romania - beautiful historic houses in wonderful countryside for decent prices, especially now the recession is giving the cash buyer a lot of negotiating power.

There is also a lot of overpriced crap being touted by so-called 'property experts', bolstered by reems of middlemen all taking their cut and charging for bad advice...so be warned.

The more in-touch you are, the better the deal, so if you really want something good then take your time, read up about regulations, drive around the areas you want to buy into, talk to the locals and you could get yourself something to be proud of.

a constancy factor in the region due to its steady economic growth, to its political, social and governmental stability.

Our forecast is that Romania economy is doing remarkably well in the property market so this is the right time to enter the market.
