    Professional Experience
    • Appointed as Sub Engineer/Design on 18 July, 1992 in the Design office Pakistan Railways Locomotive Factory, Risalpur
    • Performed duty for preparing the Drawings/Material Schedules & had closed lesions in manufacturing of Locomotives.
    • Always performed duty in the new tedious deposit projects.
    • Performed duty as a senior supervisor in the 05 and 18 PHA-20 Diesel Electric Locomotives (Hitachi, Japan) project for preparing the drawings, material schedules (BOQs) and development/manufacturing of locomotives parts from 1993 to 1997.
    • Performed duties in the deletion cell for locally development of parts to enhance the self reliance on local indigenization for Hitachi D.E Locomotives in 1995 to 1997 and also trained by the Hitachi, Japan Senior Engineers.
    • Performed duties to collect all the Transfer of Technologies (TOT) from Hitachi (Japan), ADtranz (Germany) & DLRW (China) and then issued to shop floor according to our Railways procedure from 1995 to 2007.
    • Performed duties for the development/manufacturing of Jigs/Fixtures & Special Modules works for the manufacture of AGE-30 (3000 hp) D.E. Locomotives from the available (leftover Materials) from 1998 to 1999.
    • Performed duties for preparation of execution of material specifications, drawings preparation & assessment of the Imported & Local spares of the items/parts and equipments for the manufacture of 05 DE Rehabilitation Locomotives Project GE, USA origin in 1997-98, 30 D.E Locomotives Project (GE, USA & ADtranz, Germany origin) from1999-2001, 21 DE Rehabilitation Locomotives Project (GE, USA origin) from 2001-2003 and 69 DE Locomotives Project (Chinese origin) from 2003-2008.
    • Performed duties for preparation of BOQs, Material schedule & assessment of the Imported & Local sphere of the items/parts and equipments for the manufacture of 05 DE Locomotives PILOT PROJECT Nov., 2007 to till date. 05 DE locomotives is a special project to enhance upto 40% locally development of parts to the self reliance on local indigenization The following steps has been taken for the execution of the same project:
    i. Requirement for local raw material (steel plates, flats, angles, channels, round bars & pipes etc) and consumable material (welding electrodes, Steel Grits/Shots & gases etc.) has been calculated.
    ii. Preparation of BOQ of raw material, Segregation of each type/thickness/shape of material, Preparation of commercial sheets/plates through nesting, Preparation of Material schedule of raw material, Preparation of Material schedule for consumable material, Execution work of imported parts/Equipments as well as local parts/Equipments.
    iii. Execution work of specifications (Chemical/Mechanical properties etc.) for each item/part from JIS, ASTM, DIN, ISO and TOT standard books for local and imported parts/Equipments.
