not married in Saudi Arabia

  • Hello all,

I am considering a job offer in SA and planning to go bring my girlfriend along.
We are not married. A lot of questions have surfaced ...Can we still live together? how will she get around? Where can i get more information about life there?

thanks in advance for any tips and tricks

dont even consider coming with a girlfriend, when they catch u two walking around they will deport both of you, the authorities are stupid and narrow minded there

  • Not married in Saudi Arabia

    Dear René,
From my experience there, you can't enter the country if you are not married but, in any case go there without marrying before. You will find hundreds of problems every day, you are even not supposed walking together or talking to each other.
I lived there for one year, anything you want to know, just ask. Regards

  • If you come to SA, your life will be over!

    Dear Esteban,
I hope this isn't too late and I hope you didn't decide to start working here.Life in SA is hard and complicated!.and for someone who is as energetic as you are, moving to this country is not such a good idea. I've been living here for 18 years and still haven't adapted to the system. The only reason I'm still here is because college is free and my family, friends and all the warmhearted people I know help me forget how unbearable the system is. So unless you bring your whole town with you, don't come.
    best wishes,
    deema

I don't think bringing your boyfriend here to Saudi is easy unless he manages to have a job or a buisness visit throw a local company and that's for a week maximam.

good luck and have a good living in Saudi
