re-entry with expired visa

I came to India for two months vacation on 16th May 2009. But I could not return due to my brothers death with in the visa period up to 08 th July 2009.
Now I like to return on 16th Aug 2009. I am afraid that any problem will occur at the immigration to enter the kingdom through the expired visa. Can I enter now?. I am helpless.
