Re:

  • The company that hired you will give you a work visa. On your arrival to Saudi, you will get your residence permit (IQAMA).
Once you get your iqama, you can then get a visa to bring your wife, and children. If you can prove that your parents are your dependents, and that you are responsible for them, then you can bring them along as well.
My suggestion is to come along, bring your wife, then apply for your parents.

Your company cant sponsor them. You will be able to do so if you have an Iqama (legal residence)
It is fairly easy to convince the authorities here that your parents are your dependents. I am not sure what documents they will want, but i assume just affidavits from you, and proof of their age etc. basically what they would want to make sure is that they are not coming here t work, and if they are old and retired, this will suffice.
In addition, there are two words you need to know from now that will help you when in Saudi:
1- Wasta - meaning connections.. who you know will get you what you want.
2- Mua'agib - Expediter.. guys that run around finishing documents on your behalf, and if you find the right one, you will be able to get anything done.

Ohhhh.. another thing i forgot to mention.. The profession that you are coming to Saudi as is very important. Non professionals will not usually be able to bring along family.
Again.. wasta and Mua'agibs do anything..
