Bank Account whilst Bankrupt in SA

Hiya,
My husband is officially going bankrupt in the UK this month. We are moving back to SA in April and I was wondering if he will be able to get a basic bank account in SA? You can get one in the UK, but people are now telling me this is not possible in SA??
