Success University - money making rip-off!!!

• If you ever come across this con scheme called Success University, be aware that these guys can loose your money in no time!

It’s basically a pyramid scam – illegal in many countries, including South Africa.
Many of my friends have lost their money, although initially they were promised high returns. I’m afraid it NEVER happened!

• Success University Pyramid SCAM

Thank God, Simon it has opened your mind. So have you done something about it? Have you launched your own business yet? Or maybe you are a mastermind behind the next Simon Global Industries Inc??

Or are you just making money of your dear friends and loved ones?
So go on, tell us how this personal development package has opened your mind. I would love to open mine, too.

Honestly, don’t you realize that these people are making money out of you??
The one mastermind behind this pyramid is the one who really deserves every single penny of many like you who believe in this bull s…it!!

This is the only way how it works – it doesn’t need huge investments, all it does need is some sheep and then some more sheep BELIEVERS.

And you shouldn’t stop if you believe, mate. Go on, be a good student and pay for us all!

Success University is as much pyramid as grass is green.
Thanks.

• Scam?

"Honestly, don’t you realize that these people are making money out of you??"

Doesn't this happen in a classic 'JOB' as well - your boss actually makes money off you? The shocking truth!

• Success University Scam

My boss doesn't make a penny from me. I'm self employed I make a product I sell it direct. Not a pyramid.

Normal job your boss pays you to make a product then sells it to the customer. not a pyramid.

You pay to join the scheme, then the only way to make money is to get others to join too. Pyramid scheme.

• Success University a Scam ?

Very Funny actually. Please name me one business on the planet earth that doesn't require money ? The problem is to many people who should just be slaves to the man , think they can actually run a business. What is sad is people scream scam because they themselves like to blame everyone else. Success UniversityReview

• Value

I love it when I hear these people say things are a spam. It is all about value, the value it is to you personally. Success University is great for people who want to develop themselves which accounts for a very small population of the World hence the negative comments from people who will continue to get what they have always got.

• NO PYRAMID

Success University is not a pyramid. My day job is a pyramid. There is a chief Exec, then 10 directors, 20 managers. Then all of us at the bottom. I can not earn more then my boss. That is a pyramid shape. Success University, is where you can earn more then the person above you. Also it is registered with the DSA!

• My opinion

I am a university student, psychology that is. I recently replied to an advertisement. I was initially sceptical since there was no mention of an organisation, names etc.

I received a phone call, and I asked questions. I was told it was founded 3 1/2 years ago. And the other information such as what it offers. I wasn't told however that I will have to pay money... i will probably find that out next time the woman phones.

Personal Development Plan (PDP) is a 20 credit module on the course I am on -Bsc (Hons) Psychology. and it is widely regarded as annoying by students. however, it can have benefits but that would be more through the academic and personal interface tasks you have to complete and the experience gained from it.

I am not sure just yet what I am going to be offered but it seems like you get this "Personal Development" information and you forward it. Aka. a pyramid scheme. But, its a clever pyramid scheme from what I've found. The product is something. There is basis for it existing. But the people that need personal development are those without a job and these people will be generally reluctant to pay out money for information.

Then you get the vast amount of idiots with no business acument thinking that in this day and age millions of people will come flocking if you tell them you can earn $250,000 a year. I think, or at least hope people don't fall for that.

That is the scam element. I believe there is a 'network marketing' achievment to be accomplished but not before contributing to someone elses network. - you being the latest.

You can't expect to pay money and then receive money without doing anything about it. It is business. You have to assess the types of people that would want this- whether it's a business opportunity, personal information... however you sell it.. thats the point. you're selling something.

Whether you choose to pass it on to as many people you want is up to you. I would look it as Network marketing. You can see the logic in it. 'Scam' is the wrong definition of it. More a sleazy way of making money if you have no belief in the product. If you do have belief in the product then it is a venture that with your own talent can take you.

"Network Marketing"

And saying that, I'm not sure I will pay the money I am going to be asked for based on the fact I dont at the moment have the resources and time to market personal development packs and there are other things out there to be invested in.

However, if you've got the time. You've done your reading on marketing.. go for it.

I used to know a couple of guys that sold links on the internet.. sometimes on Ebay! not the same thing. but there's always money to be made...even if it is just information.

Sell it.

• No scam: get informed about the real world

I suggest you read up on what constitutes a pyramid scheme. Where a product is sold in exchange for money at the transaction point, and where you have the freedom to decide on its value to you, it's no pyramid. Read the rules in the DMA literature.
What is the difference between normal retail selling and referral selling? When you go to the retail store, the price you pay includes for example the suppliers advertising, promotions, marketing and sales staff, shop rentals, security, shrinkage (theft)and general supply chain costs such as distributed warehousing. That constitutes a large proportion of the price you pay. In referral marketing and selling, a proportion of the selling price is distributed back to the persons who undertake the business of selling to new customers and assisting them with the tools of the business.
If you are say a sales person in a typical store you will have limited income potential eg a salary and probabaly a lot less that the sales manager. In network marketing, and especially in the case of Success University, you not only can develop your life-skills from using the product, but depending on how hard you work, you can earn what you like. So I suggest the disbelievers either stay as they are with the common herd getting exploited by corporates in a "secure" job or struggling with a statistically-likely-to-fail new self employment business until you retire, and find that you will have insufficient funds to live.
Alternatively, spend some time learning about REAL network marketing, and why it is regarded by the likes of Kyosaki, Trump, Rohn, Tracy, Ziglar, Morris and many other highly successful persons as the future way for enlightened individuals to secure financial freedom via their own efforts. No one said it was easy, but then who said any way of earning financial freedom was easy?
The choice is yours to decide, but I suggest that you should refrain from providing advice on something about which you know very little.

• My experience of SU

It saddens me to think that so many people, who could potentially have their lives transformed by SU, may miss out due to people calling SU a scam or pyramid. SU isn't for everyone but the people who do go for it find the experience enriching and rewarding.

My advice: Do it! Grab hold of life and live it with a passion. Throw yourself in and don't be afraid to fail. Read my Squidoo article and see how SU has changed my life (http://www.squidoo.com/online-income-2009).

Out of approximately every 10 people I tell about SU, 4 sign up. Out of every 10 who sign up approximately 3 really grab it, run with it and transform their lives. The ones who don't are usually just not in a place in their lives where they really want to make a real and lasting change or they just don't really believe in themselves enough to make things happen. Those people usually cancel their membership (no questions asked) and carry on living their lives, no harm done.

The other ones (like myself) become more than they ever thought possible. I always considered myself a follower until I joined SU. Having constant contact with successful, wealthy, open minded people has given me the courage to become a success myself because I no longer fear failure.

I've just turned 29yrs and one of my life goals currently relates to turning 30. On that birthday I want to be on holiday, in a beautiful and luxurious location, watching a sunset with my girlfriend safe in the knowledge that I have lasting financial security which will last my whole life time. With SU this will become a reality.

• SU got no money , therefore join force with World venture.

SU leaders in Singapore make money by organising seminar and charge them fees ($5)

Over 100 people join and pay $5 to attend seminar every week. They also bring in prospects who also must pay $5. And how much do they make?

Look at Roger Loh. He said he want to help people achieve success , also must charge US$300 to anyone who want to learn from him?

And that baggart who called herself Queen of Stay Home Mum. She receive allowance from her working hubby and pay for fees , books, thru her subsidary credit card (her hubby pay SU money right?)

SU charge US$49.95 , then US$55.90 (it is to pay for magazines), what next?

Then SU leaders in Singapore will charge $10 to $20 for seminars.
