Are you thinking what I'm thinking..

  • Abramovich moves his billions to the Premiership. Liverpool wins the Champions League. Wembley looks like it might actually be one of the greatest stadiums the world has ever seen. Scotland hosts the highest profile G8 summit in history. The UK has both the G8 presidency and the EU presidency. London wins its bid to host the 2012 Olympics. When everything seems to be concentrating on Britain, are England destined to win the 2006 World Cup?

Things do seem to be going right for the UK. If England's first XI remain fit throughout the world cup then they've got to be one of the favourites. I just worry about the cover for some of the positions. [The first XI being: Robinson, Neville, Ferdinand, Terry, Ashley Cole, Beckham, Lampard, Gerrard, Joe Cole, Owen, Rooney]. Anyone disagree with my selection??
