Visas for parents

  • I work in UK and on work permit visas valid for 5 years. My parents are 75 yrs old and I am their only child. I need to look after them as they need my continous support due to old age. Further they have high blood pressure.

They are currently in London with me o 6 months visas which expires the next month. Is there a possibility that their visa could be extended for another 6 months. Or how could they get dependent visas?

Will be very helpful if someone could advise me and help. Greatly appreciate help.

    Regards

Hi, as far as I know your parents can apply if they're over the age of 65 and if you can proof that you can financially support them, thus if you have the necessary funds in your bankaccount, and can proof that you own/rent property. but I'm not sure if this still applies if you hold a Visa- it might be a case of having to apply for actual residency/a passport, before being able to do this?? check out this website, they have a lot of information. good luck!
