Calls within the Philippines

When calling a Philippine number within the same area code you don’t have to dial the area code, except if you are calling from a mobile phone or payphone.

When dialing to other area codes, you have to add the domestic long distance access prefix 0. Example: When calling from Ioio City to Manila you have to dial 02-1234567.

Mobile phone calls

Calling a Philippine mobile phone from abroad is almost the same as calling a land-line phone. Dial the international exit code 00, than the country code 63, followed by the three-digit network provider prefixes (instead of the two-digit area codes) and the seven-digit mobile phone number.
