hello tom, a good tip for second hand furniture is the caritas warehouse "carla" at mitterersteig 10 in the 5th district (http://www.caritas-wien.at/266.htm). you may have to search through a lot of trash, but sometimes you can find really interesting stuff at good prices. there´s also a flea market near Naschmarkt every saturday, but there it´s even more difficult to find something good - try to go as early as you can. if money is not an issue, you can also check out the specialised antique shops that can be found all around vienna, especially in the districts 4-7, i think.
