Duped by London Apartments Direct in London

  This is just to warn everyone to stay away from LOndon Apartments Direct. They look like a legitimate site but have conned a lot of people (including me) out of lot of money. They take advances on bookings and then just dont turn up at the pickup point and nobody answers their phones or if you are lucky to get an apartment (mostly never the one you have booked, paid for and gotten confirmed from them) - then they willl never refund you the deposit amount.
  
  So be careful and dont deal with them. YOu can see a lot of postings about them in the Virtual Tourist site as well.

  Thank for the info Nikki, I was looking for an apartment in london a few months ago and thankfully did not choose london apartments direct, I used a great site www.refreshaccommodation.com and had no problems...
