journalism in Canada

• Are there any special accreditations required for journalists in Canada? I am an English Language student in Ireland.

• no certifications required

  I know plenty of "journalists" in Canada that did not even go to school, however they have worked in the area for years. I think it boils down to your connections to the industry and the parties who may give you employment
