• As somebody who will become a landed immigrant on the date of the Federal Elections (Jan 23) , what are the key issues at stake and the positions from the different political parties in Canada?

  in the eyes of the conservatives the liberals are a bunch of crooks. At the same time the consevatives are a bunch of opportunists that will end up with a minority government that can fall at any ocassion. NDP, their discourse is "healthcare, healthcare, healthcare", and the quebecoises, well, they speak another language (in more than 1 way)

• Do not vote conservative!!!!!! Canada elections

  I do not applaud the liberals, however they have done a far better job than anybody in the second half of the XX century.
  
  Conservatives are a bunch of churchgoers who want to spread their "ethics" over the will of those who do not share their views.
