Options for Special Needs Kids

i heard that its tough in Japan for special needs kids (at least that are international). Has anyone been through the experience of raising a foreign child with a disability? my 12-year old son has autism.

Japan has schools for special needs kids but it´s going to be tough on you as foreigners. Have you considered the international services offered in Tokyo (Tokyo International Learning Community?)
