mobile phone companies charge you to call those 0900 numbers though, so u need a land line
and if you have a fast internet connection and a mic, there's a bunch of skype like companies which actually offer completely free calls to fixed phones anywhere in europe and the US. www.voipbuster.com if I'm not mistaken.

You do NOT need a landline: there is a new service called tele06.nl which allows you to make international calls directly from your mobile for the same price as making a domestic calls.

Just tried www.voicetraders.com. You can use the 0900 number on cellphone. Excellent connection. They have loads of these providers! Skype is as well a good alternative, but you need a computer with microphone.

Cheap calls from NL to UK/US etc
I call the UK from my Dutch home for 2 cents per minute.
(I can't remember what the US rate is)
All I do is add 1649 before the UK numbers and codes.

Free International Mobile to Mobile Calls
In the UK the 3 Network has launched a mobile phone on which you can make International calls via Skype to other Skype users for free.
Does anyone know if any of the Mobile Networks in The Netherlands offer anything similar? Some of the latest mobiles available have WiFi capabilities and if you are near a free access WiFi hotspot then these phones can also make free calls to other Skype users. The beauty of the 3 Network offer (on their X-Series) is that you don't need to be near a WiFi hotspot because access to the Internet is provided free by 3 themselves.
International mobile to mobile calls are very expeensive and I'm trying to find a cheaper solution?
Anybody got any thoughts or ideas?

Calling from abroad to the UK
Hi
Many like me what to call UK, but can’t find a cheap way of doing this, let me tell what I do, The person that you want to call in UK, Tell that person to use the free calls section on http://www.reallyjustdial.co.uk and use it to ring you. All you have to do is either send a text from you mobile to that person to ring you or ring from you landline and once that person picks up the phone, just say ring me
Just remember that the person is clear how to use the service on http://www.reallyjustdial.co.uk and your in business
