• who are you talking to? I am not comparing high school education systems. I am talking about a liberal arts (BA) university education. That would compare germans and english speakers of age 22 at least. You especially learn critical thinking in such a bachelor degree. My experience with educated germans is that they often have a qualification say as a doctor or a psychologist but no wider analytical education. I think germans like this tend to rely much more on weekend newspapers for their knowledge.
