why have the English missed Mastihari Kos

  • HI All

Greece to me is the most beautiful place, I have visited many times, including, Santorini,Crete,Kos to name but a few. This year I visited Mastahari Bay in Kos, it was really strange as it was wonderful with endless classy tavernas, beautiful beaches and just a few km away from the airport, however is was as though it had not been discoverd by the English at all? I believe there were just 4 of us in the whole hotel.Lots of Germands and Scandanaviens. I must say I believe this is what made the place so special, no English pubs, larger louts or tack. Why, when it is so near to the airport and so safe & lovely have the English not discovered it, am I am missing something? it seemed to good to be true.

Have been at least 3 times to the beautiful resort of Mastihari, one of its best features is that it has not been over developed. Some people would find it too quiet and would not enjoy this restful and peaceful resort. I am hoping to go back next year to stay in the Illios and Irene accomodation.

It is because of its tranquility it remains such a beautiful resort. Hopefully, the lack of booming nightlife and lager louts will continue.
We are returning this year and look forward to not hearing anything but the sea at night as we sip our Retsina's on the balcony.
To be honest though - if people want all night drinking and partying - they can stay in Kardamena.
