To Shimanna

  • It's good that you have some friends in Saudi Arabia. Friends are always important in your life. I hope that they are your good friends - especially if you are ever in trouble.
From having read your posts, I get the impression that you are very young in your teenage or in your twenties.

From the sound of your posts, you are young, innocent, trusting and inexperienced. I was once like you and now, I am telling you to be very careful with your TRUST in people. You are only less than a year in Saudi Arabia and you haven't seen much of it.
It's EASY to judge people (Saudis or foreigners) by their friendliness, good manners, breeding, smiles, etc. You might say that they are nice people, just they say "hello," "good morning," "good afternoon," "good evening," and so on. But beneath the surface, only some are deceptive, dangerous people who like keeping their dark sides secret. I'd seen their kinds, in fact, too many times before, as I had lived in crime-ridden town for years, so I know enough about corrupt people, criminals and professionals.
Also, I'd witnessed corruption in police, the worse ones wearing the Mr. Nice Policeman masks. Sure, the good, righteous policemen are rare and few. Believe me in saying that and remember that too. Statistically, you can trust only one of every 100 Saudi policemen. The rest are corruptible by bribes, dirty money from human trafficking and drugs, etc.

As you are in Saudi Arabia, be extra careful, especially as you are a WOMAN. If you were a blue-eyed blonde with a great beauty, sex slave traders regard you as the most valued commodity in Saudi Arabia. Once, you are overweighed and aged a little, and have skin problems like acnes, you are safely ignored wherever you go.
Once again, I tell you be careful. Take care of yourself.
