Everyone has so much to say about Apartheid...

  • Would anyone like to comment on the current government in SA? I challenge the next poster to try to explain to me how the ANC is any different from the NP, except for the total lack of control over the police, and obvious lust after corruption. Also somone please explain to me what these "terrible" Apartheid conditions were that are any different to the "wonderful" conditions in SA now. Segregation is still prevalent after 15 years of ANC rule, poverty is at an all time low, employment too. About the only positive I can see is democratic voting (which I am sure is at least augmented in the ANC's favour). Under the table arms deals, SABC media control in favour of the ANC, the leader of the ANC being a convicted rapist, billions of Rands just disappearing from the RDP accounts, the stifling and subsequent "intergration into the SA Police force" of the Scorpoins investigating government corruption, Home Affairs R81m identity theft-and-sale scandal, R141m Abalone trade with Chinese organised crime and it's link to the rising Chrystal Meth addiction rate; 10% of the population using meth, Zimbabwian immigrant slave trade in Jo'burg, second in the world only to Colombia for rape, murder, and assault per capita... if Apartheid was so terrible, I wonder what the history books will have to say about the ANC...
