Hi all i moved to County Westmeath mid march. I have no one i could call a friend but people do talk to me and are friendly. I've been to the toddler group and the ladies there told me many people move over but don't know how to approach people to make friends, and that it was good to see me making the effort. Having the kids does make it easier, but I can understand how people feel it can feel very lonely when my partner is at work.
