Jealous Cypriots

I have had a very close Cypriot friends when I was in the Middle East. We'd been very good friends for 5 years. During this time, I visited his country 7 times and he visited mine twice. I liked the Cyprus although it's tiny. For the 7 visits, I did not have the chance to have friends except my good old friend Andreas. I feel that Cypriots are generally jealous. I also feel that they do not want their compatriots to be with any foreigner. Very selfish. But I still remember my friend, and I miss him so much.
