public or private

  • private = less hours and more pay but depending on the hospital public may offer better opportunities depending on your areas of interest. i.e the majority of emergency medicine and treatment of the sickest is done in public hospitals whereas the private hospitals do mostly elective day surgery. So split shifts etc and floating rosters in public and normal day hours in private but less variety and more routine surgeries in private
