language and communication is important

  • Personally, I like Cyprus a lot - with lots of beautiful beaches and people. I have visited Cyprus and i dont find Cypriot as what being describe in previous post messages. I remember when i am taking my flight from Bahrain to Larcana 2 months back, i met a cypriot on the flight and we chat. He told me about where to visit and what i must see on the island. I met some nice local people when i was in Paphos as well.

I personally feel that, one must be able to fit in the local culture and be able to accept the local traditions. Build the trust and you will find friendship. Language is always an important factor of proper communication. If given a chance, i will learn Greek as well.

Being a foreigner, going to any country we will get such incidents even the most civilised countries like UK, France, Canada, Australia and USA.
There are 6 Billions people on earth, i am sure there are a lot of friendly and down to earth one.
