White, American Woman - will I be resepcted in a director position

• Eve, I am a white American female working in Dubai. Americans are treated very well here. We are actually treated better than most cultuers. Which is sad. I accepted a position here as a teacher and my salary is 3 times more than my cousin. She has been teaching here for 12 years. She is not American. Most people will treat you with kindness and respect. Please be aware, you should not be too friendly with male associates in your office. This will cause a huge problem for you. It is haram for women and men to be friends in an islamic country.
