Hi Miguel,
I am quickly approaching the`one year of learning french should do the trick`deadline that I set myself - with horror and increasing self-doubt.
I am teaching myself at home, as the cost of french classes in Paris is beyond my means.
I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Mind you, I guess by now (9 months after you wrote your query) you are well on the road and feeling more confident........lucky you.
