Renting a car
To rent a car in Malta you have to be at least 18 years old and you must have held a driving licence for at least one year. Car rental is quite cheap in Malta and a great way to have some freedom and visit the more remote areas of the islands. Cars are available from international rental companies such as Avis, Hertz, Sixt and Europcar. They have offices at the airport, in Valletta and on Gozo.
