  The candidate will teach Classical Arabic at all levels (introductory, level 1 and Level 2) to students. Candidates should have native or near-native proficiency in Arabic; and should have experience in, and be familiar with issues involved in, the teaching of Classical Arabic as a foreign language. Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in teaching to foreign students.
  
  Interested candidates should submit a letter of application, a teaching statement (specifically addressing the teaching of Arabic), a complete CV, and three letters of recommendation, as well as relevant supporting documentation (which can include teaching materials and/or tapes showing the candidate teaching Arabic), to [email removed]
