Criminal Convictions

  • Hi there i am a british citizen and i have been married to my husband who is an asylum seeker for over years now.ever since i have been trying to bring my husband to live with me to the UK but the home office refused as they said he must return to home country and apply for a visa there. So i went to high courts and luckly won the case now we have handed in all relevant documments and application to visa centre. My husband can not return to home country because he has a minor conviction which is to do with racial discrimination against my husband. Unfortunately the home country has ststed it as Criminal do you guys think this will affect out application? and if yes how? anyone ever been in the same situation? help please.
