Free calls across the world with Skype

If you have a PC and the person you are calling also has a PC, you can make completely free calls with Skype. THis is an application that you download free from http://www.skype.com/. Install it (Easy) select a user id.... u just need to get a microphone and speakers or headset with Microphone (mine was 10Euro). The other person at the other end does the same and then you connect up your PC and you can see them online (like MSmessager / Yahoo). Sounds like alot of effort.. but if you are calling frequently... its easy. We use it in my company for calling.
If the other person has no PC then you can 'buy' prepaid call time and phone from your PC to their regular phone. Then you are only paying for the last part of the call (usually the last few miles/KM to the persons phone). Mexico is 8 cents a minute I think - check out the website - the rates are there.
