  Great!! But's that's a very general answer, cause German beer types are quite different! I recommend you try the "Weizen", "Pils" and "Dunkelbier".

  Only in Bavaria there are more than 800 diferent beers. I haven´t tried them all yet There are many great beers, one of my favorite ones is "Tannenzäpfle". It´s a "Pils" from the black forest. Furthermore there are many famous, good "Weizen" (in Bavarian "Weißbier" in Bavaria, like Augustiner or Franziskaner. Maybe you should also try to get some beer from very small breweries (in the south of Germany each village of 5000 inhabitants has it´s own beer).
