I've been here for over a year now and I'm finally "getting in". I read a lot of articles and social know hows, like http://www.kwintessential.co.uk/resources/global-etiquette/china-country-profile.html
But in general they are really friendly, but they just don't seem to see you as a real friend, just "that foreigner". Give it some more time, with the same people, and this will go away.Martin 14 Apr 2008, 11:20 - Report
