• i can't help but laugh after reading these posts. some idiot wrote that we have the highest interest rates in the world, lmfao!! dude where in the flippin hell do you live. it trully is discouraging to see so much pessimism coming from adults in our country, but we do take solace in the fact that they will be dead in a couple on years (i'm joking). being black does not make you an african (i'm black, i know). i say if you don't want to be here, then go. it's not in the nature of a south african to care about someone who does not care about them. just stop slandering our country. f***, south africa has many very serius problems; problems we can overcome, only if we work together. you dont have to like me, but you can atleast respect me as a fellow human being but more importantly, as a fello country man. all these people talking about the new institutionalised "racist" policy that is aa clearly have no grasp of the policy itself. i challenge all of you to actually research aa. one thing i know my friends and peers (blacks, whites, coloureds, indians, chinese etc etc) agree on is that the implementation of aa is wrong; as with the many brilliant policies our parliament is able to cook up. our policies are sound and true but the implementation of these policies is absolutely bullshitty. i think people should just get over themselves, more especialy adult south africans ( parents; figures of influence). yes you are entitled to your own views, however befokked those views are, but you have to realise that you influence the kids around you. my friends and i just don't understand how a peer can be racist or prejudicial against another. i mean ive seen things and heard utterances from 13 year olds that would shame hitler. it trully is sad. truth is, we have the most advanced constitution in the world, we have a vibrant economy and a maturing economy. but if you want no part of it, leave. no one is going to hate you, i cant say we wont hold it against you.
