Would like to make friends as well

Hello everyone..I myself find it very difficult to make friends...I moved St. Gallen about 3wks ago, i have lived here for 1yr before and never made any friends for myself..My husband is Swiss and i am friends with his friends..It would be nice to make my own though..I think the problem is the language..It can be a big barrier when it comes to having a conversation..My mother tongue is English and i am struggling with my German...Sometimes the Swiss can be very narrow minded but i think if we give them a chance they would come around..Mind you i am from a very small Caribbean Island, Trinidad and Tobago and i have no problems making friends there. My suggestion is be positve after all , Switzerland would be our home in the end...
