Yes, it's boring

• I've been here since Aug 08 with my Kiwi husband - we both met in london 10 years ago got married and he wanted to come back to be closer to family. Big Mistake! Firstly, we were surprised how expensive things were except for coffees and cake (and junk food really). Then the public transport is shite, I could just jump on a tube in London and be at the other end in no time. You have to own a car here. We are planning on going back at the end of the year. Auckland is geared towards families. Right now I'm so bored I've had to search for sites about how boring NZ is..and voila. I wouldn't recommend the place unless you want to come for a holiday or to have kids..apart from that I'm bored out of my brains and we've even resorted to visiting 2 different cafes in one day everyday this week..needless to say we're on edge at the moment..
